COVID & Health Policy
Massage therapy requires 2 individuals to breath the same air, and make skin contact for extended periods of time. Realistically, there is only so much precaution that can be made to ensure mutual safety. But a few policies and habits go a long way. Here are some strategies I employ:
- No cancellation fees
That’s right. None. So there is no reason to think you have to keep your session. - Use The Restroom
Prior to your session, feel free to use the restroom and wash your hands thoroughly to minimize risks to your therapist. - Use Reasonable Suspicion
If you are unsure as to your health status, consider your risk factors: Closed crowed spaces, proximity to people known to be ill, etc. It may just be allergies, or it may be something more. - Masks Are Always An Option
If you have been in high risk situations, but feel well & healthy and really want your massage: if you like, we can both wear our masks. - Know When To Say When
If you have a fever, chills, persistent cough or are aware of being ill: You must cancel or reschedule.
For The Health Of My Clients
I wash my hands AND forearms
with soap thoroughly
before AND after
every single session.
