In Memory Of...

Nee-Nee

I began practicing from my home studio in order to be part of the “small army” of wonderful care givers supporting my mother who suffered from a list of crappy maladies, not the least of which was dementia.

Fortunately, few sessions were ever interrupted. And never for an emergency. I was very fortunate to be able to work, and still remain close….just in case.

In the summer of 2023, Nee-Nee finally found her peace. I hope more than anything she found her husband (my dad), for whom she has been so desperately searching for these last years. While I have no further obligations to practice from home, it has become where “We” now, and for the foreseeable future, will practice massage.

Lily

Ring The Doorbell
And She Would Sing You The Song Of Her People!

Lily was our resident Massage Therapy Puppy, who would join sessions and place her head right under your hand – demanding pets. She helped to channel the intensity of Sean’s Deep Tissue massage. She would then fall asleep on the floor and breathe so deep that even your therapist would be hypnotized!

Lily developed a tumor on her throat a couple of years ago. Its problematic placement, along with lung cysts made her tumor inoperable. Lily enjoyed another year or so of a palliative lifestyle – just like her Nee Nee did!

Early first morning of November, after a  wonderful Halloween celebration and then the most horrible of nights – Lily let go. All our hearts are crushed and we will all miss her special brand of puppy therapy so much.
